Vlad recently opened up to Adam22 about an ill-fated attempt to secure an interview with O.J. Simpson for $100,000. Vlad revealed that negotiations were well underway, but the deal fell apart over payment arrangements. The interview was to focus on Simpson's football career and the whole Vegas robbery situation and not on the notorious murder case. Due to a lawsuit brought against Simpson by Nicole Brown's and Ron Goldman's families, Simpson could not get paid directly, so Vlad had to deal with a third party. The breaking point came when the third party demanded the full $100,000 in cash up front, fearing Simpson could potentially walk away with the money without giving the interview. Vlad counter-offered half or three-quarters upfront with the rest after the interview, but they refused. He admitted to having regrets about the situation, but still stands by his business decision.
