Michael Corleone Blanco, son of notorious drug trafficker Griselda Blanco, confirmed that his mother had planned to kidnap John F. Kennedy Jr. to secure her release from prison. According to Charles Cosby, she had devised a plan to abduct JFK Jr., secure her release, and then return him after fleeing to Colombia. Michael also confirmed this was a real idea, though it remained an unrealized concept. He recalled such daring schemes were not uncommon, citing an example where a former family member attempted escape from a federal building with the help of purchased Nicaraguans and a bulletproof helicopter. Furthermore, Blanco added that the plot had gotten close to the execution stage before police presence led to its abandonment. Ultimately, the plan to kidnap JFK Jr was never enacted.
