In this clip, Trenches News claimed he did not receive $25,000 from the FBI to cooperate in the murder case of FBG Duck. An FBI agent had previously alleged that Trenches News was paid $25,000 over 15 installments in 2021 in exchange for background information, surveillance footage reviews, and social media postings. However, Trenches News vehemently denies this, challenging the FBI to "show me a receipt" for the alleged payout. He asserted he regularly makes significantly more than that amount on YouTube. He further countered that any payment suggestions were absurd, as the FBI wouldn't drive to his residence to hand him small amounts. The authenticity of the claimed FBI payment was raised during the interview following its mention in open court. Trenches News responded that he directly questioned the jury about this "lie" and demanded evidence proving it.
