Charles Goldsmith recounted a harrowing episode involving the Hell's Henchmen and the Outlaws biker gang, leading to the third-largest bombing in U.S. history at the time. Goldsmith revealed that the Hell's Henchmen were on their way to becoming Hell's Angels when the Outlaws took drastic measures to prevent this by planting a bomb outside the Henchmen's clubhouse on Grand Avenue in Chicago. Goldsmith described the devastation, saying it destroyed houses for five blocks and moved the building off its foundation. The explosion left a significant 5-foot hole in the sidewalk, illustrating the bomb's magnitude. Fortunately, the building was empty as the Henchmen had gone bar-hopping. Despite the severity, no arrests were made.
