Gilbert Arenas discussed the highly-publicized rap battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. From the onset, Vlad noted that Kendrick received widespread support from the hip-hop community. This was in stark contrast to Drake, who, despite having boosted multiple careers found little public support during the battle. Arenas recognized the prevailing sentiment that Kendrick, known for his artistic and lyrical prowess, would triumph. However, he commended Drake for going the distance despite being the underdog. Comparing their efforts, Arenas suggested that while Kendrick was always expected to win, Drake's perseverance and the quality of his responses were commendable. Both Arenas and Vlad agreed that although Kendrick ultimately received more streams and accolades, the battle elevated both rappers.
