Vlad highlighted that during the grand jury proceedings, a member of South Side called Dirt Rocc testified, alleging that Big Dre was the actual shooter. However, Dre purportedly allowed Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson to take the fall, as it better fit the narrative due to Anderson being jumped by 2Pac’s entourage. MC Eiht acknowledged the plausibility of the notion that Anderson, considering his gang affiliations and reputation, would have eventually sought vengeance on 2Pac. He asserted that Anderson, driven by the code of gang retaliation, would have targeted 2Pac sooner or later to settle the score.
