During his heyday, Borrello made about $40,000 a month but admitted his life was a financial mess due to extravagant spending on nightclubs, gambling, and fast living. Borrello recounted how he used to rob anything and anyone, including drug dealers and jewelry stores. One notable robbery involved a high-end Manhattan jewelry store where he and his crew made off with $1 million worth of luxurious items. Interestingly, they missed a shelf of high-value Patek Philippe watches, which could have doubled their haul.
