X-Raided delved into creating music behind bars and the complex dynamics of prison life. Despite the hardships of prison, X-Raided remarkably recorded numerous tracks in his cell, leveraging gaps in prison regulations to establish a makeshift studio. His troubles, however, were not limited to recording constraints. X-Raided recounted a violent episode in 2002 when he was stabbed by inmates allegedly instigated by correctional officers. The COs purportedly manipulated Mexican inmates to attack him over refusals to produce music for them.
