Bill Courtney disclosed that the man who notoriously shot rapper 50 Cent nine times is still alive. According to Courtney, the shooter was Robert Lyons, also known as "Son." The shooting occurred outside 50 Cent's grandmother's house, with Lyons allegedly staking out the location before opening fire. Courtney detailed Lyons' background, mentioning that he was a low-profile individual without a significant criminal record, making him a "mystery" to law enforcement. Despite this, Lyons was linked to notable criminal figures and later became the bodyguard for rapper Ja Rule. The interview further revealed that Lyons' actions weren't connected to the retaliation cycle linked to 50 Cent's shooting, separating him from the violent spree instigated by Damien Hardy. Interestingly, despite surviving the brutal attack, 50 Cent chose not to cooperate with the authorities. Courtney recounted his relentless but unsuccessful attempts to get 50 Cent to collaborate on the investigation.
