Michael Franzese shed light on a shocking conversation he had with Lyle Menendez. Menendez, one of the infamous Menendez Brothers, confided to Franzese about the alleged abuse he and his brother endured at the hands of their father. According to Franzese, Lyle claimed that their mother turned a blind eye while their father subjected them to various forms of abuse in a locked room for hours. Franzese acknowledged that he believed Lyle's claims back then and continues to stand by them today. He remarked that while the brothers’ actions were undoubtedly criminal, they were not hardened criminals, suggesting they were victims of their circumstances. He argued that their case should have been treated as manslaughter, or at least warranted a sentence with the possibility of parole, especially given the abuse allegations.
