Chuck Zito made headlines with his claims about FX's hit show "Sons of Anarchy." Zito alleged that FX wrongfully turned down his original pitch about motorcycle gangs before greenlighting a similar concept, resulting in the successful series. Feeling aggrieved, Zito sued FX for $5 million, accusing them of stealing his show idea. However, the lawsuit ended with a summary judgment in FX's favor.

Despite the legal setback, Zito's unique encounter with "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter resulted in a surprising twist. The meeting led to Zito being featured in the fifth season of the show as the character Frankie Diamonds. Although Zito's role was relatively short-lived, he valued the experience and formed a friendship with Sutter. Reflecting on the situation, Zito expressed that with better legal advice, he might have secured a longer tenure on the popular series. Nonetheless, he affirmed his appreciation for the opportunity and maintained respect for those involved.
