Lil Woody discussed the allegations concerning Young Thug and the death of Donovan Thomas, known as "Nut," in January 2015. According to the District Attorney's claims, Young Thug allegedly ordered a hit on Nut. A rented car, reportedly associated with the incident, was said to have been linked to Lil Woody. During the drive-by shooting outside a barbershop, Nut was killed, while a 14-year-old and a 27-year-old sustained gunshot injuries.
Lil Woody recounted the aftermath, stating that Nut, in his final moments, accused Young Thug of orchestrating the murder. Following the incident, authorities allege that Lil Woody and others met Thug at a nearby McDonald's to discuss the occurrence, after which Lil Woody supposedly left town. However, on the stand, Woody denied involvement in Nut's murder and dissociated the event from the YSL group, pointing to a figure named "Threat" as the last known user of the rented car.
