During the interview, the Terror Squad leader labeled Foundational Black Africans racist and accused the group of being the most vocal opposition to his claims. Earlier this year, Tariq Nasheed expressed strong opinions about Fat Joe's claim that Blacks and Latinos equally contributed to the creation of hip-hop. Nasheed firmly disagreed, emphasizing that the formative years of hip-hop were predominantly influenced by Black culture.
