Blunts, born in Salt Lake City, spent much of his childhood in Davenport, Iowa, after his parents separated before he was born. He shared the heart-wrenching story of losing his father at the age of eight due to an unforeseen choking incident. Blunts also recounted the financial struggles his family faced, which led them to live in homeless shelters for much of his youth.
