According to Tacopina, ASAP Rocky, who was not licensed to carry a firearm at the time, was advised by his manager to use a prop gun for protection. This came after several violent incidents and without full-time security. Tacopina mentioned there was substantial evidence supporting the claim that the gun was a starter pistol, including witnesses who testified to its fake nature.
