Rashia Wilson delves into her tumultuous upbringing, marked by her mother's addiction and Wilson's own troubled path that led to her being dubbed the "queen of tax fraud." Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Wilson is one of seven daughters from six different fathers. Despite this, she describes her mother as doing the best she could, navigating her addiction largely in the shadows of their household. Wilson recalls the challenges of frequently moving, including a shift from a house to a series of projects due to her mother's struggles with substance abuse. Her father, who was mostly absent due to his incarceration, left her with a yearning for a paternal figure, a void she felt more keenly as she grew older. However, she notes that her father's presence in her life was sporadic until his death shortly before her release from a 13-year federal prison sentence for her notorious tax fraud case.
