Rashia Wilson opened up about a pivotal moment in her life: discovering she was pregnant at just 14 while serving time in a juvenile program. Her early teen years were marked by a series of theft-related arrests, which eventually led her serving time in a juvenile detention program. During her incarceration, she discovered she was expecting and served an eight-month sentence while pregnant. Wilson also revealed that the father was significantly older.
Her time in detention was challenging, marked by a lack of familial support and harsh conditions, exacerbated by severe morning sickness. After leaving the detention center at 15, she gave birth shortly after. Lacking parental support, with her mother battling addiction and her father incarcerated, Wilson received a mental health SSI check to support her newfound responsibilities. Despite her promises to change, the teenager found herself slipping back into old habits, stealing clothes to make ends meet for her and her child.
