Charlamagne Tha God weighed in on Drake’s ongoing legal drama following his battle with Kendrick Lamar. Charlamagne argued that Kendrick “knocked out” Drake lyrically in their feud, specifically praising Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” track as a superior response. According to Charlamagne, Drake actually waved the white flag first with his “The Heart Pt. 6,” signaling defeat.
Despite losing, Drake has refused to move on, instead filing a defamation lawsuit involving Roc Nation and Universal Music Group. Charlamagne sees this as Drake “punching himself,” prolonging a battle he already lost. He emphasized that in hip-hop, some dirt thrown in battles just has to be taken, and dragging the feud into court only adds to Drake’s woes. Meanwhile, Kendrick has moved forward, leaving Drake stuck in a self-destructive spiral. As Charlamagne puts it, “Kendrick beat him up, and Drake woke up and punched himself.”
