Former detective Momodu Gondo revealed startling claims about a fatal shooting involving his partner. Gondo testified that during a traffic stop, his partner fatally shot a suspect fleeing in a car, firing shots as the vehicle was moving. According to Gondo, the Deputy Commissioner coached officers to cover up the incident. Although Gondo was not present at the scene, he heard about the shooting from colleagues and later reported it to the Department of Justice. Additionally, Gondo addressed allegations surrounding Detective Sean Suiter’s death, clarifying that he never testified Suiter’s shooting was linked to testimony against coworkers.
