Louis Ziskin, once a key figure in what became the largest ecstasy bust in U.S. history, shares his experience of arrest, trial, and sentencing. Ziskin recalls being unaware of informants within his operation until he was confronted with evidence during his indictment and jail time. Despite never being caught with narcotics or money himself, several informants testified against him. He received a 30-year sentence after a speedy trial, with the DEA and U.S. Customs leading the case. The government initially offered him immunity if he cooperated, followed by a $10 million demand to avoid prosecution, both of which he declined.
