Last year, after purchasing his signature Blueface chain, he was at a gas station when a man in a pickup truck tried to snatch it from his car. The struggle caused the chain to break, enraging Blueface. Armed, he fired shots at the suspect as the man fled, leading to a dangerous chase along the freeway where both exchanged gunfire.
Blueface described performing maneuvers to stop the suspect’s truck, even driving against traffic to keep pursuit. The ordeal ended with police intervention, resulting in Blueface, a friend, and a bystander being arrested. Although charged with felony shooting at an occupied vehicle, Blueface’s legal team leveraged video evidence showing the initial robbery, arguing his actions were in self-defense.
