Comedian DL Hughley weighed in on rapper T.I.’s venture into stand-up comedy, comparing it to Michael Jordan’s switch to baseball. Hughley explained that just as Jordan, a basketball legend, found limited success in baseball, artists excelling in one craft don’t always naturally succeed in another. “People who are gifted in one aspect believe that God gives with two hands, and I don’t know that he does,” Hughley said, acknowledging T.I.’s Hall of Fame status as a rapper but questioning his comedic prowess. Having shared stages with T.I., Hughley noted T.I. typically performs short sets during comedy shows.
