Williams confirmed Stewart’s involvement in multiple gang-related murders linked to drug conspiracies in New Orleans. While acknowledging Stewart’s violent past, Williams distinguished himself by highlighting the differences: Rabbit lacked the powerful status, resources, and respect Williams held in the city’s underground. Despite the pain Magnolia’s death caused—Williams referred to her as a little sister—he expressed forgiveness towards Stewart.
Stewart pleaded guilty not only to Magnolia Shorty’s murder but also to several other killings tied to heroin distribution and firearms conspiracies.
