After leaving a tense Philadelphia scene marked by factional violence, Card returned to DC in 1989 and partnered with local dealer Jimmy Murray. However, their business came to a tragic halt when Murray was robbed and murdered by individuals he trusted.
Card explained that the plan was originally aimed at him, but his strict security protocols made robbing him too risky. Unlike Card, Murray was more trusting and less cautious, ultimately ignoring warnings to change his lifestyle and security habits. The murderers ambushed Murray after a night out, robbing their stash house before killing him to send a message.
