In a recent interview, Tim Thomas shared his memorable experience joining the Phoenix Suns mid-career and playing alongside two-time MVP Steve Nash in the mid-2000s. After a challenging stint with the Chicago Bulls, Thomas found renewed energy playing with Nash, praising his unparalleled court vision and ability to make the game easier. Thomas also recounted facing Kobe Bryant in a high-stakes Western Conference playoff series—a very different Kobe than the high school peer he once knew. Despite Kobe’s dominant scoring and relentless mindset, Thomas and the Suns battled back from a 3-1 series deficit, culminating in a memorable Game 6 performance that helped Phoenix win the series.
