In a candid interview, Pretty Tony recalls meeting Pharrell Williams in the early ‘90s, long before Pharrell became a global music icon. “We were just cool in the streets,” Tony explains, describing how Pharrell frequented local hangouts like the Chad House while starting out in music. Interestingly, Pharrell stood apart from the typical street lifestyle, avoiding drugs and alcohol, and wasn’t drawn to the party scene his peers enjoyed. “He didn’t do nothing,” Tony notes, highlighting Pharrell’s clean lifestyle even amid the streets.

In contrast, Pharrell’s brother, known as Eightball, was deeply involved in street hustling during their younger days. However, Tony says Eightball eventually stepped away from that life to focus on business ventures.
