In a fiery interview with Shawn Prez, Nicholas Irving argued that the current conflict is a “war of choice” driven by political ego and poor judgment. Prez suggested the administration may have been influenced by Benjamin Netanyahu or by Donald Trump’s desire to appear powerful and historic.
Discussing the reported 60-day ceasefire, Irving dismissed it as “wishy washy” and “fugazi,” saying fighting had already resumed and that Israel’s actions repeatedly threaten to collapse peace efforts. He argued that strikes involving Iran, Lebanon, and regional shipping continue pulling the U.S. back into the conflict.
Irving was especially critical of Trump’s repeated threats of overwhelming military force, saying his “tough talk” has lost credibility. Comparing Trump to someone bluffing after being hit repeatedly, Irving said the former president is “showing out for social media” and called him a “wannabe bad bitch” chasing online attention.
