Alok Bansal is Director at Centre for Security & Strategy, India Foundation. He served in the Indian Navy for 32 years, during which he participated in Operation Pawan in Sri Lanka and commanded two warships. Bansal has authored four books; his most recent book is South Asian Security: 21st-century discourses.
