The demons want to deceive people and hook them into new ageism, so they use new age methods like hypnosis and they can create the illusion of problems and of healings from those problems.
The Bible exhorts us to be alert and sober-minded because trances, altered states, hypnosis, substance abuse, new age meditation, etc. makes us spiritually vulnerable.
