Why Reincarnation Can’t Be True

The idea of reincarnation and past lives appeals to some, as it seems to offer multiple chances to get life right like the old movie, “Groundhog Day.” Yet, it’s a spiritually dangerous belief system, because it prevents people from the godly sorrow of realizing we have sinned against our holy God, and our need for repentance and Jesus as our Lord and Savior. The concept of reincarnation is Hindu, and was appropriated by new agers. The Hindus believe that reincarnation gives us multiple chances to work off karma – which is itself illogical since our sinful nature means we will never live a perfect life, and so will keep heaping up “karma” which isn’t a biblical concept. In this video, Doreen Virtue - who used to believe in past lives and teach about reincarnation before she was saved - shares 8 reasons why reincarnation cannot be true.
