Jesus Calling’s author Sarah Young was a Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) Missionary, and her husband is a PCA pastor. Sarah went to a PCA seminary.

So, when Sarah started channeling unbiblical messages and said they were Jesus’ voice, why didn’t PCA elders stop Sarah and disciple her? After all, PCA is known as the conservative Bible-sufficiency branch of Presbyterianism.

25 years later, Jesus Calling has sold 45 million copies in multiple languages. Some women get their theology from Jesus Calling instead of the Bible.

Dr. Ben Inman, a PCA minister, has finally called the PCA Assembly to renounce Jesus Calling and to publicly repent for their role in the book’s inception.
