YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Syrian government have fallen following a rapid offensive by rebel forces, marking the end of the Assad family's 50-plus-year rule over Syria. According to the reports the rebels have taken the capital, Damascus, and captured key cities, leading to widespread celebrations among opposition supporters. The real question is who will be left to fill in the vacuum? Al-Julani is the projected leader of the rebels who has a past in the extremist terror group al-Qaeda. In 2011, he returned to Syria from Iraq to establish al-Qaeda’s Syrian branch. While al-Julani projects a moderate image outwardly and speaks the language of moderation, the name of his organization encapsulates far more extreme intentions. In the meantime, Israel has sent the IDF to hold strategic positions along the Syrian border with the Golan Heights. It has performed IAF air strikes on over 350 strategic military installations, weapon caches, Naval and Airbases in Syria.
