Trailing right behind Covid19 is a virus just as dangerous, misinformation. As social media and unreliable sources begin to infect our population, we are often left victim to false information. Specifically, Gen Z struggles to attain factual material as they drown upon distorted/heavily biased news. This can be stopped through increased awareness on altered stories and a platform appealing to growing minds other than Social Media. It is pivotal that teens develop these skills so that they can participate in future elections with real facts interwoven with their own personal conclusions.
