YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Recent studies have shown that people on the autism spectrum are more likely to identify as part of the LGBTQ community – including some researchers who estimate that people with autism traits are 2-3 times more likely to be transgender than those who are not on the spectrum.

Courtney Lasky is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Director of Clinical Services with BlueSprig Pediatrics. She is also a wife and mother of 6 children who has worked with autistic individuals for over 15 years. She joins the show to discuss the research and offer tips on how to support kids on the autism spectrum.
