"I was an honor student at USC. Then in my senior year, I dropped out and became homeless in LA," Bethany Yeiser tells Dr. Drew. "When I got better, I thought... why did they let me rot away on the streets? Why wasn't I picked up and taken to a hospital sooner?"

Dr. Drew says California's method of addressing homeless people is deeply flawed: "they have social workers who aren't psychiatrists. They don't know how to deal with addiction... And somebody with a grandiose delusion, they just meet them where they are. If you think you're Napoleon, well, we'll meet you where you are. You're Napoleon."
