as posted by the channelFour years ago, Jade was diagnosed with systemic mastocytosis, a rare and incurable disease which caused severe allergies to many foods and substances. Jade found Dr Joe's work and applied for a Give to Give scholarship to help her attend the Brighton Advanced Week Long Retreat. When the week started she had headaches from being in the room with so many potential allergens. After hearing Lulu speak onstage about overcoming her severe allergies, Jade was inspired to go for it in the walking meditation...which seemed to help her get through the rest of the retreat with no more headaches.
