Dr Martin drains malignant ascites in Africa. A trocar is inserted through the abdominal wall, into the peritoneal cavity to drain the malignant transudate. Presence of the fluid turns the pottential peritoneal space into an actual space. The lady felt much better after drainage of this pathological fluid.
