Chapter List:

Every human brain comes prepackaged with a panic center. It’s already installed and ready to go. You don’t need the IT guy to come by and set it up.

Even if you’ve never experienced an attack so far, everyone is vulnerable to panic.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) provides tools for reducing the duration and intensity of panic attacks. It can help reduce the frequency of recurring panic attacks so that they are no longer a problem. Even better, the approach is free, and you can learn it without even going to see a therapist. But it does take a lot of practice.
