- Transgender Individuals and Healthcare - A Historical Retrospective to 2025
Despite claims to the contrary, there is actually an extensive medical literature supporting that affirmative care (including gender reassignment hormones and surgery for those who seek those approaches) provides benefits for transgender individuals.
- Anxiety and ADHD:
Anxiety and ADHD share multiple symptoms, including distractedness, troubles concentrating, forgetfulness, and restlessness. Figuring out if one or both are present is important for treatment. Surprisingly to some, anxiety in the setting of ADHD often improves with treatment with stimulants.
- Can Video Games Treat ADHD?:
In 2020 the FDA approved the first video game to treat any condition. Designed by neuroscientists, Endeavor RX is a multi-player game that can at least temporarily improve some executive functions in individuals with ADHD.
