We have forty years of research documenting the efficacy of bright light treatment (phototherapy) for Seasonal Affective Disorder. But phototherapy can be effective in other conditions as well. Researchers have become increasingly interested in using phototherapy to treat ADHD - which makes sense, given the pervasive sleep problems and phase delayed circadian rhythms among those with ADHD.
