After a 1 minute recap of each video, I’ll be available for questions on these topics or any other related to Mental Health.

- Brain Aging and Mental Health:

Normal aging is associated with declines in cognitive processing speeds, more difficulty shifting cognitive frameworks, and more challenges processing new information. Many of these decreases start by one's early 30's, and there is considerable overlap between normal aging and ADHD - all 9 inattentive ADHD symptoms and the 4 impulsive symptoms all coincide with what are often called "senior moments". Sorting out dementia, normal aging and ADHD can be challenging in older adults.

- Can One Factor Explain All Mental Health Conditions? - The p-Factor:

While the number of diagnoses within the DSM continues to grow - to well over 200, other research suggests that one underlying process may explain a significant part of all mental health conditions. But interpretation of studies looking at the structure and relationship between mental health conditions is constrained by how we measure mental health symptoms, and some experts think that the underlying factor for psychiatric pathology - the "p-Factor" is mostly an artifact of how we assess the severity of impairment in mental health conditions.
