YouTube Description
as posted by the channelMain Chapters:
Actions speak louder than words, but less clearly. We spend our lives telling ourselves stories about others' (and our own) intentions - we need to do so to make sense of life. But intentions are internal processes, always multi-faceted, and often at least partially unknown even to the person whose behavior we assign intentions to. Unknown both because of unconscious processes, but also because much of behavior is automatic and reflexive, not driven by conscious, rational thought. This means that we are often wrong, and almost never completely right when assessing someone's intentions. The intention of this video is to suggest some ways for dealing with the uncertainty about the assumptions we make when assessing intentions.
