as posted by the channelThis breakfast quesadilla recipe is delicious. It’s full of electrolytes, nutrients, and healthy fats, including almond butter and coconut oil, to hydrate the body and help support healthy hormones and also curb sweet cravings!
Ingredients:
1 organic pear, peeled and diced
4 sprouted Ezekiel or brown rice tortillas
1 tbsp. raw honey
1 organic peach, peeled and diced
1/4 c. raw almond butter
Cinnamon to taste
1 tbsp. coconut oil
Directions:
1. Begin by dicing pears and peaches.
3. On the center of one tortilla, spread raw honey and top it with the diced peaches and pears.
3. Drizzle the fruit with honey and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
4. Spread raw almond butter on a second tortilla and place it on top.
5. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt coconut oil or butter.
6. Place quesadilla in the skillet, flipping once, until both sides are golden brown and crispy (about 3 minutes per side). Repeat with remaining tortillas.
7. Slice quesadilla in quarter portions.
8. Drizzle with honey and serve.
