I stopped into the Barre Amped studio in Franklin, TN and met up with owner/creator Suzanne Bowen for a short interview and workout demonstration
-Barre Amped is a fusion of dance, Pilates, yoga, and deep, orthopedic stretching.
-The benefits of Barre Amped include mind/body connection, extreme weight loss results, body sculpting, and massage therapy.
-Alignment and form are very important when doing a Barre Amped workout.
-Barre is great cross-training for women and men.
-Barre Amped consists of high repetition, low weight or body weight exercises, active stretching, and deep relaxation. Barre Amped is great for promoting healthy posture.
-It is recommended to do Barre Amped workouts for 55-60 minutes, 3 times per week, for optimal results.
