Today I’m going to talk about how to go gluten free. I believe it is important to go gluten free because gluten is a protein that is very difficult for most people to digest. Today, 1 out of every 133 people have celiac disease and cannot tolerate gluten at all, and 1 out of every 7 people are severely gluten intolerant and notice an outward reaction.
Symptoms of Gluten Intolerance:
-Fatigue
-Lack of energy
-Weight gain
-Bloating, indigestion

Tips for Going Gluten Free
1. Breakfast: Replace cereal, bread, and gluten products with a berry smoothie

2. Pure Coconut Wraps: Try a breakfast burrito or chicken salad lunch wrap with raw coconut wraps in place of wheat wraps. Coconut is full of healthy fats to promote a healthy weight.
3. Nuts and seeds: Consume flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds for a healthy breakfast.

4. Gluten-Free Flours: Try using nut flours to encrust fish and meats or for baking.
-You can make your own nut flour with a blender.
-Use gluten-free, bean flours for baking.

6. Lunch: Consume a large salad with protein and nuts or try a gluten-free wrap or sandwich.
7. Snacks:
-Guacamole with vegetables
-Gluten-free crackers with hummus or salsa
Action Steps:
1. Change your breakfast. Replace grains, cereal, and bread with a berry smoothie or a coconut wrap breakfast burrito.
2. Change your lunch: Replace bread with a large vegetable or chicken salad.
3. Change your dinner: Replace pasta, white flour, and rice with a double or triple serving of vegetable, along with fish or chicken encrusted in nut flour.
