Today on The Chopping Block, we’re going to be talking about cereal bars, and we will see at the end if they will pass the test or if they’re going to get chopped.

Negatives of Cereal Bars:

1. Sugar Content

-Each cereal bar contains seven different types of sugars- 2 types of high-fructose corn syrup and other genetically-modified sugars.

-Two cereal bars contain as much sugar as one can of soda.

2. Hydrogenated Oils

-Cereal bars contain genetically-modified oils that are highly toxic and cause heart disease in adults and children.

3. Food Colorings and Flavor Enhancers

-Cereal bars contain additives, food colorings, and flavor enhancers that are very toxic to the body.

4. Gluten

-Cereal bars are made with wheat flour and contains gluten, which is inflammatory and very difficult to digest.

Conclusion:

-Cereal bars get chopped!

-Cereal bars are not real food and not a healthy choice for you and your family. Instead, try the following healthy alternatives.
