Megan is a nurse who has been on the frontlines treating coronavirus patients. She also fears she may have the virus and has been waiting nine days for her test results. She says it’s a struggle battling this disease from both sides, especially when she doesn’t have the proper equipment.

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Are you involved in a story making headlines?

“Nurses always put patients first. It’s just part of what we do as people,” she tells Dr. Phil on Wednesday’s episode. She points out that most patients in the hospital system are not there because of COVID-19, so if nurses don’t know they’re infected, they could be infecting these patients. “How can we protect them if we’re not protecting ourselves? That’s the moral dilemma that every provider is feeling right now.”
