Kathy is an ICU nurse who claims she was recently suspended from the California hospital where she has worked for a dozen years for speaking out about an alleged lack of personal protective equipment for staff who work directly with COVID-19 patients. She contends that she and her co-workers have been begging for the N95 masks recommended by the CDC.

“They’re allowed to have one surgical mask for the whole shift, and that’s it,” she claims, adding, “Their N95 is locked up in their manager’s office.”

Kathy, who says she was recently exposed to COVID-19, alleges the hospital is telling staff that regular surgical masks are “fine” and that nurses are allegedly being forced to re-use the masks they do have.
