‘I Don’t See An Angry Child; I See A Hurt Young Lady,’ Bishop T.D. Jakes Says About 14-Year-Old

Gina and her husband, Desi, say they are concerned about Gina’s 14-year-old daughter, Taylor, who admits to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana, and to sneaking out of the house. They say they fear she is headed down a bad bath and may not be able to get back on the right track.

She may want more freedom, but she doesn’t really want to wreck her life,” Bishop Jakes says about Taylor. “I don’t see an angry child; I see a hurt young lady who is very, very hurt and has chosen a way to act out her pain by hurting other people, rather than to deal with the hurt that she has inside.”
