Heather says she’s been leading 3-4 online fitness classes per week since self-isolation began, and while her activity level isn’t what it was before stay-at-home orders, her appetite hasn’t changed.

“When we get into a really unusual situation, people tend to think ‘OK, this is not real world, this is not real life – so all the rules are suspended,’” says Dr. Phil, noting that frequently, people don’t hold themselves to the same routines or standards during an emergency.
